Frozen Zetor

Another dead tractor in Iceland. Looks like it was a very capable machine in its day. Wonder what laid it low?

Ac crossed from an auction that I went to were two old tractors. One was an 856 and the other was an AC.. A D series if I remember correctly. It was an old overgrown homestead and the owner wasn't interested in selling anything. They might still be there. Some people need to keep everything in order to feel whole. To sell something would upset their sense of well being.

I know nothing about Zetor reliability. They were sold locally in the late 80 - early 90. Looked like sturdy made units. I see some around.

Yeah, I agree: fix it, sell it, scrap it, or get rid of it anyway you can. Why let it set and just rot away? Wasteful! Mark.
