My 15 year old son wants to plant and sell sweet corn this year in addition to his hay baling business. He has an old 2 row Covington TP66 Speed Duplex planter, but he does not have the correct plates. He has 1 TP807 and 3 TP805 plates. He would really like to find some used, but no longer being used TP827 plates. If anyone has any they are interested in parting with, please let me know.

Also, he mentioned trying to use just one side of each planter with the TP805 plates to see if that might get the spacing correct for the corn seeds. Time for a little math lesson.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Go to a spring consignment auction and pick up a John Deere 1250 planter for 100$ and cut 4 rows off of it. If you can find one with finger pickup units, so much the better.
