I have a 1966 ford 3000. I need to replace the sheet metal and would like to update it. What year model will fit it?

Why don"t you repair, bodywork, and repaint what"s there? Keep it original? Restore.

Gee, what you are saying makes me think of Johnny Cash's Cadillac that he built, one piece at a time! When he went to put it together, all of the holes were gone or wrong!
But, in case that doesn't deter you, if i remember right, the model change came in '67!(1967-72) Might be wrong on that. 82 yr. old brain gets soft at times!
Best to use the body parts for the year of your truck. Its next to impossible to use parts from a much later year truck! I say this, with the voice of experience--40 some years in the auto body trade!
