Hi All,
Here's a few newbie questions. I did search this and other forums before posting. There's a M-M for sale down the road and the data tag on the right hand side of the transmission is blank. Are there any other locations where the tractor model number and serial number might be stamped or cast?
The seller claims it's a 1955 but doesn't know the model. It has a loader and back-hoe. The transmission is a 10A5608 and the engine is a 10A19200. It is equiped with an L500 loader but I did not get the back-hoe model number. Any ideas what model this tractor might be? The poor thing is in need of some mechanical TLC and major rust control. Would it be worth $2800?
And finally the left rear hub is cracked in two places. The casting numbers are 10A19854 and 10A10327. Are these made of a material that could be welded for repair or would I have to find replacements?
Thank you very much for any help you can provide.
