Hi All,
I have the problem of the engine always stopping in the same spot and the ring gear teeth are worn. I would like to replace. I have stripped a WD45 down pretty much so i don't have a problem getting prepped for the job. I've never pulled an engine b4 and i do have access to engine lift but am not sure where (which bolts) to hook it to. Are there any alignment issues getting it back together. are there any gaskets involved? I seen the suggestions on inspecting or replacing the pilot/throw out bearing. Also seen suggestions regarding putting the new ring in the oven. any other suggestions. i think i've read every string on this forum regarding this issue. I have the manual. i just need to get it done. I am in the Frederic, WI area so i know there's a allis mechanic just a few miles down the road i can always call to bail me out. Thanks for any help.
