4500 w/cracked block
I have a 3cyl gas that had a crack between 1&2. Took it a machine shop and he repaired the cylinder measured all tolerances in blocked. Repalced some other parts and done a valve job on head costed me 1650 for parts and labor. Had to put it back together myself. You have options on your tractor. -

I have a 68 Ford 2000 158 gas. Is there supposed to be any springs on carb. When governor kicks in the rpms go up and down 2-3 times before engine smoothes back out. I believe the linkage to be installed correctly as in my IT manual. There was a spring on there when i tore the engine down but... -

Tractor turns sharp to right ,but when I turn to the left it does not turn as sharp. Steering seems to be a little hard to turn also. Made some adjustments to sector shafts , that eased up steering some but no help to turning radius. Worm gear has some play also. What should be the freeplay in... -

generator not charging
After putting everything back together finally check to see what the generator was putting out. Found out it was not charging. Do I need to do anything special since it has been sitting for some time?? 1968 2000 3 cyl gas. -

Holley flooding
Put the carb back on and doesnt seem to be flooding , but now I have to partially close the choke to keep it running. Acts like not getting enough fuel now. Yall are making me look for a Zenith already. Any suggestions on this carb, doesnt seem to have many adjustments other than the screw at... -

2600 Seat time
Looks like a job well done. Can you get some close ups of the inst panel???? I'm working on a 2000 and trying to put some mechanical gauges on some how. Was it alot of trouble to install them?? -

Ballast resistor
This is the same tractor. So do I need the resistor?? Looks like a patch job. It was wire nutted in. -

Tractor appears to have been converted to 12volt. There is a ballast resistor installed, is this suppose to be there? What is the correct installation for it??? -

carb. flooding
68 Ford 2000 3cyl gas. Gas coming out the air inlet. Appears float sticking and flooding. Carb is a Holley 12R-3589B. Is this the right one for this tractor.??? -
