    Hello, I took the points and condenser out of the Distributor but can't remember if the wire from the condenser goes clockwise to the back of the tractor or does it go counter clockwise toward the front of the tradtor.? Thank you for any and all help you can give me.

    No, I am not going to pull it. I let it set for about two months. When I tried to start it. It would not start until I cleaned the points. I thought if I put an electronic ignition on it, I would not have that problem. Is it not a good Idea to put an electronic ignition on it ?

    Big mistake, changing to 12 volts
