    '49 8N QUIT

    Yesterday I started the 8N. It started great. Then, after about 3 min., it quit with no special sounds. Kind of like turning off the switch. Gas was turned on and there was gas. I just walked away from it. Sounds like something to do next week. What do you suppose happened?

    8N - Head Bolt

    OT- Chain Saw / Bad Gas

    I posted a problem with two saws loosing power at the same time: thought it would be the gas gone bad. It was not the gas. I got the Sthil 025 running with adjustment. Have not worked with Muckulock (spelling?) yet. This little saw has never given any trouble for about 30 years, maybe it's time.
