    Any success welding cracked rims?

    I noticed some of my lug holes have developed small cracks, they radiate out from the bolt hole. I would never consider welding a rim on any vehicle that I run on the highways but I am tempted to try to repair this rim. I have no idea if they where like that when I bought the tractor last year...

    JD 4020 Hand Throttle, Foot Throttle relation

    My JD 4020 1967 model has both a hand throttle and foot throttle. My question is does the foot throttle over ride the hand throttle? That's to say if the hand throttle is full on and I step on the foot throttle should the engine RPM's jump beyond what the hand throttle provides?

    Good morning all, Like the title says my steering column has developed a leak at the top between the column and the wheel. What are the causes and fixes for this issue? I might add its just a minuscule amount now but I doubt it'll heal itself.

    4020 steering issue

    My new to me 4020 has a steering issue when starting cold, the wheels need to be turned stop to stop before the steering wheel has control of them....after that everything is as it should be. Any ideas? or is this normal for the hydraulic steering on these tractors?
