Recently acquired a 520 with a bad water pump, I ordered a reman OEM pump to get the tractor going but would like to rebuild the original as a back-up. Ford 5000 Gas won't start
Struggling with our gas 1969 Ford 5000 to get it started. It ran when was parked about 2 years ago. It turns over and sputters a little but will not run. I went through the carb completely and have set everything to factory spec as a starting point. I do know the fuel pump is working fine... -

630 steering sleeve removal
Need to remove the sleeve just beneath the steering wheel to replace the bushings and inspect the shaft. Is it just a slip fit on there, but stuck from years of dirt, rust and paint? I can’t see any fasteners aside of the roll pin underneath sleeve. Pointing at the sleeve in question below.- zilla24
