    Ford 861 12 Volt Generator charging problem

    861 with 12 Volt generator - dash light is always on. Installed different rebuilt 12 Volt generator but the dash light still comes on. Resident expert neighbor says it is the voltage regulator. Where can a voltage regulator for a 12 volt generator be found? Thanks in advance for the help.

    Ford 861 - 3 pt. lift not working.

    Ford 861. Lift worked fine with remote valve. Removed remote valve and replaced with block off plate. Now it doesn"t lift. Removed plug in pump and no oil is coming out when running. Proofmeter is working fine and pump "sounds" normal. Blew air through large (return?) line and could hear...

    861 leaking transmission fluid out of the inspecion hole underneath the transmission. What is the cause and what is the potential for rehabilitation? Thanks guys.

    861 motor 'stuck'

    861 motor only turns about 2/3 to 3/4 the way around. Anyone have a good diagnosis? Had one do this before and a mouse had filled the 4th cylinder full of corn (in one night). Guess I will have to pull the head off this one.

    Ford 4000 SOS leaking

    Awhile back I posted a question about my Ford 4000 leaking fluid from the transmission into the hydraulic system. I put in a new oil pressure sensor and that didn't work although the light is coming on. I split the tractor Saturday morning, removed the seals and got the numbers out of the parts...

    Ford 881 Diesel smoking

    Ford 881 Diesel smoking bad. Gray/blue smoke. Rings? Hasn't run in who knows how many years. Took an injector pump off another tractor and it won't get to full throttle. Also, when I put it in Reverse 1 the tractor dies. Any other gear it does nothing.

    I am getting fuel to the pump and fuel coming out of the bypass but not to the injectors. Any thoughts?

    8N lift won't drop

    8N lift arms come up relatively good but then they won"t go down quickly when the lever is dropped. It will bleed down over a week or so. New oil. Please help.

    Ford Wheel Centers

    I have two wheel centers allegedly from a Ford Tractor. They fit a 28 inch rim (6 bolt) but the axle hole in the center is bigger than that for the 600, 800, 601, 801, early 2000 and 4000. Any idea what tractor these are for and what they are worth. I would like to sell them. Thanks.

    Ford 8N loader

    Loader on 8N with Vickers front pump - won't lift. Getting oil to both cylinders. Acts like it wants to lift but just can't get going. Replaced seal and bearing in pump. Loader worked a few years ago before I removed it to paint the tractor. Any ideas? Thanks! Todd

    Ford 4000 oil leaking from SOS trans to hydraulic sys.

    1964 4 cyl Ford 4000 SOS leaking trans fluid from the trans into the hydr reservoir - it comes out of the dip stick tube. Advice and part numbers (carrier seals?) would be greatly appreciated. 540 PTO only.

    I have several sets of Ford spin out or power adjust rims and was wondering what their value is. No rust through - only minimal surface rust. None of them have had calcium in the tires it appears. Thanks.
