IH guy here trying to do a favor for a friend who's tractor will stop traveling forward when first used. If you travel in reverse 20 or 30 feet then it's ok. Do this 2 or 3 times then it's ok for the rest of the time it's used. Hydraulic oil level is half way between full and add. Last service was about 300 hours ago and TSC products were used. Book shows to replace hydraulic fluid and filter at 300 hour intervals. Is that correct? That seems too often to me.
Any advice other than change fluid and filter with Ford products?

Tractor shows 1566 total hours which I assume is correct as it is seldom used but is stored indoors.
