    Piston Hydraulic Pump Bearing Ring

I am trying to rebuild my hydralic pump on a 53 Jubilee. It has the round piston pump style. I am down to the last part which is the bearing sleeve. I have tried the approach of using the oil seal to bang it out, now I have nothing left of it to use. I need some help. Any ideas or advice. My...

Thanks Dean. That worked. Any tips for getting out the pump shaft seal? The hydraulic rebuild DVD mentioned a race puller. Thanks again, Steve

    Rebuilding hydraulic pump

'53 Ford Jubilee I need some help. I am trying to rebuild the hydraulic pump (piston style) and can not get the plate out of the pump cover/head. I think the old gasket underneath it has 'glued' it in. Any advice? I appreciate anyone's help. Thanks, Steve in NC

    Need trick to installing thermostat

53 Jubilee... Trying to install new thermostat on tractor. After cracking one thermostat housing and a leak with the new one, I was wondering if there was a trick to installing it back on. I am guessing that the thermostat is sliding out of the groove some when I try to place it back on and...

    Radiator cap

I ended up getting my radiator repaired on my Jubilee. Shop said the overflow tube or pressure release tube was clogged up. He put a new tube and neck on it but I think he kept the cap. What pressure radiator cap should I pick up at the auto parts store? 7, 13, 15, 16? Thanks for any responses...

I have a 53 Jubilee with a hole in the seam at the top of the radiator. At first it was just a tiny stream and tractor worked fine. Yesterday it turned into a geiser of steam and tractor began sputtering. Thought it was going to die out. I am not sure what to do. Should I just order a new...

    Different Axel Nuts

Hello All, I got a flat in one of my rear tires and had to take wheel off. Decided I was going to replace brakes while it was off. Bought some parts including axel nuts (ordered 4179). When I went to take the axel nut noticed it was a larger inner diameter than the one I ordered on one side the...

    Rebuilt hydraulics, new issue

I rebuilt the hydraulics on my 53 Jubilee. Took awhile to prime the pump but I finally got that going. I love the fact that the arms now stay up. But now when I try to lift the arms they stutter slowly going up. Does not matter if they are loaded or not. Goes down nice and fast. Any...

    Hydraulics rebuild

I agree with Bruce. It is probably the O-ring around the piston. I just finished rebuilding the hydraulics on my Jubilee. Same problem. Discovered the O-ring around the piston was all broken up. I found the DVD on hydraulics rebuild to be helpful. Also a little note, it took awhile for my...
