    Delta drill press ??

    Thanks for the answers. I wiped it down good this A.M.& cleaned with Brakeclean.Put it on with few drops of Loctite.Will let it sit til morning & try it..Also squigged it down on a 4x4 block.. Thanks again.. Wayne

    Delta drill press ??

    HELP... I have an older 12 inch Delta brand drill press that the chuck fell off of today..Have been using a few times a month & can not see what holds it on.There is no threaded hole in the shaft for a screw or?? Could it be a press on fit or ?? Thanks for any answers.. Wayne

    I'm looking into getting a press for my father inlaw this Christmas. What are the benefits of an A frame press in comparison to the standard arrangement. How many ton press would be necessary to do typical equipment repairs (u-joints, etc.) Whats your opinion?

    Super 55 pics

    7030 dead in its tracks...

    Hey fellas- our 7030 quit moving while in the field the other day, and now we have no steering, hydraulics, 3 point and obv the clutch doesn't function since it quit moving. Any ideas where to look? Thanks, Wil

    Heres a wiring question for ya.........................

    ?what p/u are you hooking it to?? In the olden days there were a lot of problems hooking to an import p/u=Datsun,toyota. They had an adaptor to change from their 5 wire to american 4 wire..Just a thought.. Wayne

    I think it is a group #26. Possibly with the R for reverse terminals? Going from ol tymers memory. Some one will chime in with yep or nope. Wayne

    A simple 8N question.

    I just last week turned them around on a 48 8n & the bottom right bolt leaked some hyd fluid. Maybe the seal is bad on this tractor,but there was no fluid coming out around the PTO shaft.You might want to have a pail & rag handy,just in case. Wayne

    I think you need to have 2 5/16 coarse thread nuts handy to put on the end of the through bolts just as the are out of the block,but not too far into the starter.Also if the starter barrel is off & you look in & see the drive has come forward on the shaft{towards the arm, it doesn"t let you get...

    ??bent control arms on hyds???

    How does the control arm from lift cover down to pump get bent.I have seen several bent to a slight curve & do not understand how this happens.So far have had luck getting them straight again,but know sooner or later one will Break?? TIA Wayne

    1948 8N Steering gear fill plug threads

    I put a 1/4 NPT zerk in my 48. Now that I want to do another one I can't seem to find where I bought the last one. 1/8 npt zerks are fairly common,you could put one of them in a 1/8 by 1/4 bushing if you can't find the 1/4 inch ones.. Wayne

    I just took one out of an 8n.Memory is real short,but remember one end is under-one end is over cross members & a real tight fit.Think it was the rad end under,try it & see... Wayne
